Julie Mangurten Weinberg is thrilled to put her communications skills to work helping clients tell their story and connect with their audience.  "I draw on the lessons I learned during my years as a producer and executive producer in local tv news," she said.

With writing always at the heart of her work, Julie knows how to clearly and concisely deliver a message that has an impact..  "I think the key is defining the goal and then digging deep to find the information that illustrates the idea you want to share,." she explained.

Julie credits her high school English teacher, Mr. Valentin, with sparking her passion for writing.  At the same time, she developed an interest in local tv news, and the future became quite clear.  She earned a bachelor's degree from The University of Michigan and then a Master's Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Julie launched her producing career at WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, FL and then went on to KPRC-TV in Houston, TX before finally coming home to Chicago where she worked at WGN-TV, WLS-TV, and ultimately WBBM-TV where she served as an Executive Producer.

When her children were born, Julie left the newsroom, but she kept her hand in communications by editing the school newsletter, writing teacher features, creating email newsletters for several organizations, and producing videos.

Now, she says "I am  thrilled to put all of these skills together to help my clients communicate and connect.  Let me know how I can help you get it write."
